  • Eric Eaton

    executive director

    Eric Eaton is the co-founder of the Knights of Heroes organization and has been actively involved through its growth and expansion, becoming the Executive Director in 2019. Over the past 25 years, Eric has worked in leadership training, business development, strategic planning, and served as a Senior Pastor in Colorado. Eric has a passion to see individuals and organizations thrive regardless of their circumstances. He is excited to use his talents to share the story of these amazing young people and ensure as many lives are transformed as possible through Knights of Heroes.


    Eric is the author of The Raging Sloth, The Thrival Guide, and The Thrival Man 30-Day Devotional series. He has written numerous articles for online magazines, leadership journals, and church leadership blogs. Eric and his wife Erica live in the mountains of Colorado and are blessed with 3 teenagers and enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding.

  • steve harrold

    operations director

    Steve is the co-founder of Knights of Heroes. He and his wife Suzanne have two boys, Jake and Tanner. Steve retired from the Air Force in 2015 after 21 years as an F-16 pilot. He did a short stint as a paramedic in the Colorado Springs Fire Department before becoming a civilian flight instructor. In 2018, Steve stepped down from the board of directors to take on the position of Operations Director.

    development coordinator

    Kerri's husband, CW3 Michael L. Hartwick Jr., was killed in iraq on April 1, 2006.  Kerri, along with her two children Haley and Tanner have attended camp every summer since 2007 either as participants, mentors or support staff.  Kerri remarried in 2010 to Bill and is blessed to be a full-time mom to her two children and four stepchildren.  Kerri loves traveling, outdoor activities, and making memories with family/friends.  She is thankful to God for carrying her through life's trials and showing her blessings that come from the storm (one blessing being the KOH Foundation).  Kerri served on the KOH Board of Directors for seven years before stepping down to take over as development coordinator.
