Steve Harrold
Executive Director
Steve is retired from the United States Air Force and is currently working for the Colorado Springs Fire Department. He holds a master’s degree in counseling and leadership. Steve has been married to Suzanne for 20 years and has two boys, Jake and Tanner.
Eric Eaton
Treasurer
Eric enjoys spending time with his wife Erica, and their children; Dylan, Jude and Presley. They reside in Crested Butte, Colorado where they enjoy any outdoor activity that they can find. Eric is the co-founder of the Knights of Heroes Foundation.
Jason Ausdemore
Member at Large
Jason is a Dallas based First Officer for Southwest Airlines and a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve stationed in Fort Worth, Texas. He loves spending time with his wife Sara, and their daughters Savanna and Siena. They reside in Dallas, Texas and enjoy getting together with nearby family and exploring all of the activities the region has to offer.
Tim Swenson
Operations Director
Tim is the Sales Manager for Hoffman Weber Construction in Denver, Colorado. He formerly served 17 years as an executive with the Boys Scouts of America . His extensive background in fundraising and youth development through outdoor high adventure activities lends itself to many of the Foundation’s summer camp events. As a previous trainer for the National BSA Camp School Staff and a camp director, his planning and other skills are invaluable to the Foundation. Tim has a Marine Corps background and held the rank of Sergeant. He is the proud father of three sons.
Kerri Hartwick Doughty
Secretary
Kerri's husband, CW3 Michael L. Hartwick, Jr., was killed in Iraq on April 1, 2006. Kerri, along with her two children Haley and Tanner have attended camp every summer since 2007. The past three years she has assisted in moms activities for the foundation. Kerri remarried in 2010 to Bill and is blessed to be a full-time mom to her two children and four stepchildren. Kerri loves traveling, outdoor activities, and making memories with family/friends. She is thankful to God for carrying her through life's trials and showing her blessings that come from the storm (one being the KOH foundation).
Charles Huber
Member at Large
Charles is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Reserve. He is an F-16 pilot currently stationed in Fort Worth, Texas. Charles graduated from The United States Air Force Academy in 1997 and has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of combat operations. He holds a master degree in Leadership, and his hobbies include hiking, fishing, camping and skiing. He and his wife Susan have two daughters, Emily and Abby.
