The Knights of Heroes Foundation has been blessed with an outpouring of support from folks who want to help with our mission. Unfortunately, volunteer opportunities are very limited. The Foundation runs an annual one-week camp and three seasonal weekend retreats. These programs do not require a large contingent of volunteers. Please see below for existing volunteer opportunities.

become a koh mentor
limited availability
The
Knights of Heroes Foundation has a group of roughly 80 seasonal mentor
volunteers. Due to the nature of the program, the Foundation is
extremely selective with mentors. With very few exceptions, individuals
must be recommended by existing mentors or be involved in some aspect of
the program prior to being selected as mentors.
If you are interested
in becoming a mentor, please contact Steve Harrold or fill out the application form.
help renovate the koh campgrounds
opportunities available
In March of 2015, the Knights of Heroes Foundation purchased a 118-acre ranch near Victor, Colorado. We host volunteer weekends on occasion to work on facility upgrades. If you are interested in volunteering to assist with the renovations, please email us.
In 2018 we started a 4-year Forest Service project. If you have a group of volunteers that you would like to have up at camp, we have enough work to employ 100 folks, every day for a month.

maggie's story
koh volunteers make an impact
On behalf of our entire family, I want to say thank you so very much for a second incredible week in Colorado with the Knights of Heroes. The opportunities this week provides for my children is invaluable. I look forward to the day that Meghan is old enough to participate fully as well and have the benefit of the outstanding male and female mentors you have assembled to help guide and educate our kids. They all had fun, but more importantly, I know they grew and learned and are better people for the experience. As long as you will keep having us, we will keep coming back. I can only imagine the level of work that this is for you and all the other members of KOH. Again, my sincere thank you to all of you. Please know the difference it is making in these kids lives.
Best regards,
Maggie
