History
Knights of Heroes was created in January of 2007 in an effort to give something back to the families of America's heroes.
Families with boys between the ages of 10 and 17 are invited to attend at absolutely no cost. While the boys are at camp, the moms and daughters spend the week visiting sights in and around Colorado Springs. Lodging and travel arrangements are made for the families that attend from outside the local area.
Activities for the moms and daughters take place throughout the week. The camp was founded on Christian faith, but is not a Bible camp. Boys of all beliefs and from every background are welcome.

The first camp was held in June of 2007 under the name "Modern Day Knights". Sixteen boys attended from Texas, Florida, Arizona and Colorado. The camp was so successful, Knights of Heroes was established as a non-profit organization in November of 2007.
In 2008, 22 boys, 8 girls, and 13 moms and grandmothers from 11 states took part in the program. In 2009, 25 boys, 17 moms, and 11 girls were in attendance. God willing, the program will continue to grow and provide a place for the families of our heroes to gather for years to come.
