knights of heroes retreats

We offer year-round programming to keep our community engaged.

Spring retreat

22 - 25 April 2022

The spring retreat is our time to clean up the camp and get ready for the summer.  Graduates, parents and kids come to the KOH camp together and stay in cabins.  Weather dependent, attendees enjoy time on the ropes course, mountain bike and hike.  If we are lucky enough to get spring snow, we break out the snowmobiles and sleds.

fall retreat

30 Sept - 3 Oct 2022

The 2022 Fall Retreat will focus on wellness.  We will have time for meditation, yoga, mindfulness training and nutrition classes.  Enjoy the incredible fall colors while you remember what it was like to relax and be present in the moment.  Sounds a little hokey, but it is gonna be awesome!

FEBRUARY 18 - 21, 2022

The winter retreat is a 3-day winter program where the campers are introduced to snowshoeing, snowboarding and winter survival.  Campers spend a day learning winter survival skills before constructing a snow cave that they sleep in.  It is remarkable, the confidence that can be instilled by spending an overnight, at 10,000' in the dead of winter with temperatures well below zero.  The campers are rewarded with a day at Monarch Ski Resort, learning to snowboard.

2019 was the first year for the winter retreat.  It was such a remarkable success, the program is now a permanent part of KOH.

Crystal's story

koh makes an impact

There aren't enough words of thanks and blessings I can express for all the awesome things ya'll did for my Chris. He has a different way and spirit about him. It warms my heart knowing you and the great men of Knights have helped my son in healing his heart and his soul. He needed this venture more than he or I realized. They say the Lord will only put you in the place at the right time, well being in Colorado was that, a showing of Gods beautiful work at hand thru the great hearts and minds of awesome men like yourself and the others. I will do all I can to help in anyway I can to keep this program you have created going on for many young men of the future. Again "thank you" for the healing. God bless and our calendar is marked and ready. We miss Colorado already!
