The experiences I had at Knights Of Heroes gave me mental and physical tools that I can use for the rest my life. For example the rock climbing, zip line and flying squirrel were all things Id never done before but I built up courage to try them. That taught me that if theres a challenge in front of me to not to be afraid to try it. I think thats one of the main ideas of this camp is to prepare us for obstacles well face in our day to day lives.

Also we did several actives to work on team work we learned to be leaders and followers. Two important skills to use as we try to overcome even more difficult obstacles.

They also taught us what it means to be a knight. In the words of Pastor Erick accept responsibility, reject passivity, except the greater reward and be more than the world expects you to be.

I think this camp was a life altering experience that I can carry with me for the rest of my life.

The Knights of Heroes camp taught me many things. One thing it taught me was if you have the chance to conquer one of your fears, take the chance because you are probably not going to get much more chances like it. A couple examples of that are, the rock climbing and the ropes course at the Air Force Academy. My favorite thing at the camp was the ropes course, even though I was a little scared to do it at first. I ended up doing both the flying squirrel and zip-line, oh, and the big climbing thingy. Thank for all your help and kindness.

It was an amazing experience! The best part was playing in the lakes. I made great friends, had a LOT of fun, and can't wait until next year to see all my friends. It was the best trip I've ever taken!
